Asking for reviews by SMS without being pushy
Reviews rarely arrive by themselves. Asking works, but the moment and the wording decide whether you get a review or an irritation.
Ask shortly after the experience
Within a day. After that the memory fades, and the willingness with it.
Ask the right people
Somebody who just had a problem does not get a review request — you call them first. Somebody who left satisfied does.
Make it one click
A direct link to the review page, not to your home page. Every extra step halves the response.
Ask once
A reminder to write a review is experienced as pushy. One request, and then you leave it.
What you never do
Select only satisfied customers based on a prior question, or offer something in return. Both go against the terms of most platforms and it shows.
Measure
Not how many you asked, but how many reviews were added in the same period.
