Schedule SMS and delayed sending

Scheduling an SMS means you compose your message now and SMSBOX sends it automatically at a moment of your choice: immediately, on a future date and time, or with the special New Year option exactly at 00:00 on 1 January. Scheduling is free; you simply pay the normal credits, only on sending.

Delayed sending is included as standard with sending SMS online via SMSBOX. It also works perfectly with personalized SMS and groups from your online phone book.

How does delayed sending work?

With every campaign you choose the sending moment: now or a future date and time. A scheduled message sits as a pending message in your dashboard. As long as it hasn't been sent, you can change or cancel it there at any time — so you're never locked in. At the chosen moment the message leaves fully automatically.

New Year's SMS: automatically at midnight

New Year's Eve is the busiest SMS moment of the year. With the special New Year option you prepare your wishes in advance and SMSBOX sends them automatically at 00:00 on 1 January. Your wishes arrive exactly at midnight, without you having to stay up for it.

Birthdays and wishes
Prepare congratulations and wishes in advance, so you never miss an important date again.

Campaigns at the peak moment
Prepare your promotion at leisure and let it leave at the moment your audience is most receptive.

Payment reminders
Schedule friendly reminders around invoice due dates, without having to think about it manually.

Scheduling via the web interface and the API

Manual scheduling takes a few clicks in the web interface. If you send from your own software, the SMS API supports a sending time per message — so you schedule reminders and campaigns fully automatically.
