Mail2SMS — send email to SMS from your mailbox
With Mail2SMS you send an SMS from any e-mail client — Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail or your own business software. No installation, no API integration: your e-mail goes out automatically as an SMS. In three steps you send an SMS straight from your mailbox.
Address your e-mail
Send to the mobile number including country code, followed by @sms2.eu — e.g. 32496123456@sms2.eu.
Put your key in the subject
Enter your personal Mail2SMS key in the subject line. You create it once on the API page of your SMSBOX portal.
Write your message
The text in the e-mail becomes your SMS. Hit send and your message goes out immediately via our gateway. Once it has been processed, you receive a status e-mail.
E-mail notification — alerts as a text or voice message
Do you have a system that can only send e-mails — server monitoring, an alarm system, a webshop or a form on your website? With e-mail notification you get your own address at @noti.smsbox.be and link it to up to 10 mobile numbers.
Every e-mail that arrives at that address is forwarded straight away as a text or voice message (in Dutch, French or English). The address is generated automatically with a random part, so nobody can guess it.

Good to know. A Mail2SMS message is at most 459 characters long (up to 3 concatenated SMS). Messages over 160 characters are sent as a long SMS and use several credits. Rates depend on the network — check the exact gateway prices on the pricing page.
