The collection message

As soon as the order comes in. Without mentioning what it is — only that something is ready and until when.

The reminder

After a few days, once. After that you call or return it to stock, according to your own procedure.

What you definitely leave out

The name of the medicine or the nature of the treatment. An SMS appears on a locked screen others can see. Keep strictly to "your order is ready".

Consent

Ask for the number with the order and record that it is for collection messages. Commercial messages follow different rules, and you should not mix the two.

In practice

This should leave automatically from your pharmacy software. By hand it works on a quiet day and not on a busy one — which are exactly the days it matters.
