Formatting numbers for Kuwait correctly

Always write foreign numbers in international format, with the country code and without the leading zero. For Kuwait a number therefore starts with 965 — for example 965xxxxxxxxx. Numbers in national format are recognised and converted where possible, but international notation removes any doubt.

Frequently asked questions about international SMS rates

Every SMS is ultimately delivered by the recipient's operator, and that operator charges its own rate to deliver the message on its network. That rate differs strongly per country and sometimes even per operator within the same country. We pass that difference on in the number of credits per message.
The gateway list in your account shows per country and per network how many credits a message costs, with the date of the last update. The pricing page also shows the overview of the credit packages and the price per credit.
A credit is the unit of account you send with. One credit is not always one SMS: a message to Belgium costs fewer credits than a message to an expensive destination network, and a long message that is split into multiple parts costs credits per part.
To more than 200 countries, all from the same account and the same credit balance. You do not need to request a separate agreement or additional service to send internationally.
Yes. One SMS counts 160 characters in the standard GSM alphabet, or 70 characters when you use emoji or special characters. Longer messages are split into multiple parts and each part is billed separately. The SMS length calculator shows you in advance how many parts your text produces.
Yes. The price per credit decreases as you purchase a larger package, down to €0.06 per SMS to Belgium (excl. VAT). For large or recurring volumes we prepare a tailored quote.
For foreign destinations you can set an alphanumeric sender name of up to 16 characters. For Belgian destinations this is not possible. Some countries also have their own registration rules for sender names — ask us about your destination.
Operator rates change from time to time. The gateway list therefore shows for each network when the data was last updated, so you always rely on current figures.
